Job Description
The Superintendent leads all field operations for CPI’s Mass Timber construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. Reporting to the COO, this role plans and drives project schedules, manages manpower, materials, and equipment, and partners closely with the Project Manager, Foreman, Lead Setters, and Lead Detailers to keep work safe, on schedule, and to CPI’s quality standards. The Superintendent serves as CPI’s primary field representative to Owners, Architects, Engineers, and General Contractors, and mentors field leadership to build stronger teams on every project.

Job Description
A superintendent works with the preconstruction team to assist in planning upcoming projects. They put the overall build strategy together and assist in development of plan submittals for projects they will be overseeing. The superintendent then works with and through CPI Forman to coordinate onsite activities according to plans and to make necessary adjustments along the way. Developing these Forman to think and act strategically and solve problems effectively is critical to the growth and success of Carpentry Plus and central purpose of the Superintendent.
