Position Overview: A successful project manager at Carpentry Plus proactively identifies areas where stakeholder expectations may evolve or begin to deviate from established expectations.  They assertively communicate to maintain shared expectations with all stakeholders throughout the project and consistently find win/win approaches to overcome obstacles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of several projects to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and delivering a quality product per CPI core values.  
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with the project general contractor, design team, and internal team
  • Ensure that project activities achieve goals while maintaining with industry best practices and CPI core values  
  • Implement and improve upon procedures to assure timely and accurate buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery procedures
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate schedules to ensure timely project completion
  • Support the Foreman and/or Superintendent to develop and implement project site specific safety plans.
  • Collaborate with Superintendent and Quality Manager to develop and implement project site specific quality control plans.
  • Present Project Status Reports (PSR’s) monthly to Executive team.
  • Work with accounting team to ensure accurate monthly billings and ensure draw request are approved.
  • Collaborate with CFO and controller to ensure quarterly revenue forecasting is projecting and tracking accurately  
  • Assist the Superintendent and Foreman in the planning development and implementation of build plans
  • Proactively develop strong suppliers and subcontractor relationships


  • Min 5 years in commercial construction project management
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational stills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills within a team setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed
  • Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
